Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia

My husband was made to take a plea due to the judge denying his attorney a continuance. He has now decided to withdraw his plea and go to trial. As a result, the judge revoked his bond and placed him back in jail until trial. The judges reasoning was he felt that my husband would intimidate the co-defendents. The co-defendents are ALL in jail. Please advise as to what can be done. Our attorney has already filed a motion to reinstate the bond, but our fear is that the judge will deny it. Thanks in advance

You are doing the right thing, as it sounds like you have a criminal defense attorney helping you. If the judge got the bail decision wrong, or abused his discretion, and does not grant the motion, your attorney can likely appeal the bail decision.
