Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia

My husband in prison on probation violation om family violence. He broke his probation on a drug charge which has never been tried. This Happened about 3 years ago. Are they limitation on the drug charge? He should be up for paorle but he doesn't even have his grid sheet and when I call they tell me he will be eligable to make parole. The judte revoked the remainder of his probation which was 5 years. Will he have to serve that or will he be eligiable for paorle . He is in Augusta State Prison.
