Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia

my husband was sentenced to 90 days in a work release center and came in with alcohol in his system. he was then sentenced to 120-160 days in the detention center. meanwhile we hired a lawyer to have his sentenced (modified or reduced) because we have two illing kids. The judge then gave him a 150 days on an alcohol and leg monitor. Well a week later he went in to see his probation officer and he tested positive for cocaine when he took teh drug test. What do you think that the outcome or sentenced wil be this time when he goes back in front of the judge. please respond.

Your husband needs a good lawyer and he almost certainly will serve time. When someone is stupid enough to blow their second chance, you should have zero expectation of a third chance.

While this may sound harsh, you are married to an addict. Consider using the time he is in jail to get away from him. Being married to such a person endangers your children (and yourself).
