How to invoke marital privilege so that I need not go to court to testify against my spouse?

Whether the marital privilege can be invoked depends on a few factors. Criminal or civil case? If a criminal case, was a child involved? Georgia state or federal court? Your best bet is to hire a Georgia criminal defense attorney well BEFORE your appearance date to represent you.
