Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
In January 2009 I was caught with oxycontin. They got me admitting in a statement that i was taking them to someone else. So they threatened with possession with intent if i didnt snitch. I couldnt help em. They never put a warrant out for me. A few months after it happened a lot of the narcotic officers in that division were fired for unlawful stuff. Is that why I havent been charged or is a charge yet to come?

No one on this website is going to know the answer as to why you have not been charged, or if you will ever be charged. The smartest thing you can do is hire a Georgia criminal defense attorney NOW, and that way if you are charged in the future, you will have someone ready and willing to help you who is already familiar with the specific facts of your case.
Best of luck.******The above is for informational purposes only and does not create an attorney-client privilege.******
DON'T KNOW WHY YOU HAVE NOT BEEN CHARGED. If you remain in limbo more than one year, I would hire an attorney to file a 14th amendment speedy trial demand. See answer about speedy trial demands
