Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
i need to know is it lawful for an officer of the law to enter your home without being invited at anytime without a search warrant in order to write an obstruction charge based on the testimony of a drunk and mentally incompetant adult and to disregard the statement that one "my wife is naked" and two "i dont want my dog out or to cause problems"?

The answer is NO. However, cops have learned the guidlines over the years. They will typically knock on your door and ask they may come in. If you say "yes", they can then look all around. Politely tell them that your will talk to them on your portch. They can't come into your house without a search warrantl
