Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
Lawyer, good choice / bad choice?
How can I know if I selected the best lawyer I can? How can I check their history? Is it possible to get percentage of wins verses loses to a specific lawyer? Basically how can I get a copy of a lawyers professional case history in a certain county?

That's Not How You Search For An Attorney
Just as with anything else, only you can say if you have selected the best attorney for your situation. You should know if you have selected a person who you would like to handle your case and who you would trust. You are asking for something that really has no one true answer. An attorney who relates well to one client, may not related well to another.
I am not sure what you mean by "history" of the attorney, but if you wanted to know if the particular attorney has ever had any disciplinary action brought against that attorney, you can contact the Georgia BAR if you are in Georgia, or whichever BAR that is overseeing the attorney in your area; every state has one. If you had wanted to know if a particular attorney graduated from which school, when the attorney graduated, and when that attorney was admitted to practice law, there are many ways to find out fro free on-line from www.martindale.com and other forums.
There is no such thing as a database that is monitored by any government or legal entity for the public to see if an attorney has win so many cases or lost so many. That should not be a criteria on which you should decide to hire an attorney. The attorney does not make up the facts of the case, nor does he/she make the laws. The attorney can only work within the facts of the case and the law of the jurisdiction. Sometimes even when a party wins, the party loses in some sense. Even the best attorney doing an excellent job can lose. However, you have a right to ask if the attorney has ever lose any cases, and from that choose which attorney you would hire. Do remember that what you are saying is like asking a doctor for a guarantee if he or she has ever had any patient died or get ill. No one can make that guarantee.
There is no such thing as a attorney's case history for a certain county. When you are admitted to practice in a state, you can practice before the courts in any jurisdiction within that state, as long as you have been sworn in.
I believe you have the wrong impression of the legal profession. One does not become an attorney, who is able to practice in a state simply by signing some documents. Even once we have graduated from law school, that does not automatically entitles us to practice law anywhere.
