Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
leaving a state during investigation
a redtraunt was robbed and the police got my phone number.the asked all the employees questions,we answered and left.soon after I transfered stores.now I'm in a diffrent state living with my cousin.I recived a phone call from tha police and they are asking about it again and do I no the person who did it .my question is can the police do anything to me?do I have to answer any questions?

Every American has a right to remain silent, and most should exercise it. You have no obligation to speak with the police, and you definitely should not without first consulting a reputable criminal defense attorney in your area. Contact your local bar association for references if you don't know any.
