Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
I live in Appling County GA. I was charged with simple battery several years ago during an argument with my wife. Both she and my dad who was also present told the officer I had not touched her and we were just arguing. He arrested me anyway and said he would press the charges. I was told this case should be dismissed because he was later fired from the department for exposing himself to a minor child in a Walmart. Now I have received a notice to appear in court later this month. Any thoughts?
