Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
I live in Arizona but my husband is a prisoner in Georgia at Smith State Prison. Recently, the GA Dept of Corrections reversed credits given to him from a current case and a case from ten years ago. The judges in both case gave him credit for time served but the DOC is refusing to give him full credit because the sentence orders say credit for time served and they say thats not specific enough. he was supposed to max out on 9/23/2010 but they have changed it to 1/22/2012. They say the only thing to reverse would be a clarified court from both judges. I have no money to hire an attorney, what can I do?

You have two choices. Hire an attorney to look into it, or don't do anything.
