Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
I live in McIntosh county, Georgia. Have been to court 2 times already for simple battery, ex-wife now failed to show up for court. How many times can they keep making me go back to court on this same issue. I just got a letter today saying have to be in court again July 8 2013. Last time I went to court Dec.19,2012 the said was dead docketed. Has now been almost a year since was arrested.

You're facing a charge for which you can spend a year in jail and be fined $1000, and that meant you should have hired counsel long ago. I suspect with a lawyer, you'd have the case already behind you. Hire counsel today.
