Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
I lived in Marietta, GA and during a Domestic Violence call the PD found my abusive now ex-boyfriends drugs. They gave me a ticket because the unit was in my name but I called them. I hired and attorney and he said he could get me off through negotiating with the prosecutor. He said that signing a jury waiver is only for that calender schedule, so I did. Now I can't get in touch with him its been a year and I haven't been to court and I now live in Sect8 housing, my record was clean I'm 37 and disabled, what do I do??
