Loan Application Forgery

What is the statute of limitations on forgery on a loan application for a vehicle? Also, ultimately this transpired to forgery on a title in order to trade in the original vehicle and purchase another.

Prosecution for a felony involving forgery must be commenced within four years of the commission of the crime. This would apply to both situations, and would begin counting from the date of commission of the crime.

There are some exceptions, but your fact scenario assumes no exceptions that I can see.
