Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
Lost a filled out money order for 440 dollars. What do I need to do to get my money back and can I file charges. Also is the buisiness who cashed it responsible for cashing it in without checking ID

Charges against whom? The person that cashed it? How do you know they did not have ID? Possibly a forged ID? You don't know enough about the situation to intelligently explain what happened. Therefore, I cannot give you advice.

On your end you make out a police report and contact the money order company. Since it was your fault for losing it, you may or may not get money back. Since you weren't present when it was cashed, there is now ay you can swear out a warrant as warrants must be based on what you actually witnessed.
