In march of 2000 I was raped by my then husband. I have a recording of him apologizing for the rape, can I use the recording if I file charges

I suspect a prosecutor would have a major problem with a spouse waiting 11 years to file, and there may be evidentiary problems with a recording. You can meet with your local DA and see what he says.
