misdemeanors
i recently got charged with 2 misdemeanors (under aged drinking and possession of false id) and i need to know what kind of penalties i would be looking at. Also, i was wanting to find out what my options are and if i would benifit from hiring an attorney.

The possession of alcohol can carry up to 6 months and $300 fine. The false ID charge can carry up to $1000 fine and 12 months in jail. This can be a serious charge because the second false ID conviction is a felony that can carry up to 3 years in prison. An attorney can walk you through the process and go over your options with you.
