mother's loss or murder

The DA has informed us that he is seeking the death penalty for our daughter who is being charged with murdering her infant son. Is there any legal help that she can get, probono or with a payment plan. She is a 22 yrs. old hispanic, single mom of 2, who was in the gifted and talented program. She has never been in trouble with the law for anything. She has never been into drugs or alcohol. She demands the infant was stillborn and she tried to revive him. Please help?! She delivered in the bathroom, at home, without anything for pain and nobody to help her. When she was arrested, 2 days later, she needed 2 pints of blood. She was literally on her death bed. Now, she is dying of a broken heart.

I am very sorry to hear of this tragic loss. Unfortunately the State often attempts to prosecute under circumstances such as these.
