Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
I had a motorcyle on lay-a-way with a small georgia dealer. The bike's cost was $4000 dollars and I had paid him $1500 dollars. The shop owner sold the motorcycle to someone else and has not returned my money after 2 months. What are my options? I have receipts to show my payments (3 payments of $500 each)

Take out a warrant application for theft by deception AND theft by conversion (go down to local magistrate - sometimes they are at the jail on weekends).
I would not tell judge that you want your money tell judge you want him in jail.
Judge will try to have you mediate and/or negotiate with defendant but hold out for new bike or his arrest that day!!
