Mukes misdemeanors

i'm being charged with driving with suspened license and possession of marijuana under and 1 ounce. i wanted to know since i got my licence back would that drop the suspended charge, could i be fined instead of some probation or possibly jail time. If the fine is too high at my first appearance can i get a 2month continuance. or whats my best option in this matter im from florida

It is usually the case that the driving on suspended license charge can be reduced to driving with no valid license, if you have a valid license at the time of the hearing. It may depend to some extent on the reason your license was suspended in the first case.

The possession charge is something to be cautious of in Georgia. You license is in jeopardy and I strongly suggest you have representation before trying to complete the case.

If you go in with a valid D/L they may drop the DUS count. It all depends on your prior record and why your D/L was suspended.
