Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
If narcotics are found on a property that is not yours are the police required to ask who's narcotics are recovered if more than one person is present or can they arrest and detain the person closest to the narcotics

Police have the discretion to arrest no one and/or arrest everyone. That is the beauty to law enforcement training. Remember, while everyone thinks the police are idiots, the prisons are overcrowded with individuals that the police made cases against. Good luck.
