Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
I am on first offender felony theft probation. A couple days ago i got charged with a $28 shoplifting charge from walmart. I wasnt leaving the store, i checked out with my handicapped mother and i remembered about the shoes then. I put them on in the shoe section and brought my old shoes that were in the new box to the bench outside the mens bathroom in the back of walmart. I forgot to pick them up but i planned on paying for them when i remembered after i checked out with my mom. I was going to help my mom gt her food first then pay for the shoes. I need to know if thiscan be dropped its ridiculous.

I would advise you not to consider it ridiculous or take it lightly. You can have your first offender status not only revoked, but you could be resentenced to the max you could have gotten in the first place.
