Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
I ordered an ipad 2 from apple for in store pickup for my daughter. She picked it up at the store, the Apple store made a mistake unbeknownst to me and sent her another letter to pick up the ipad. So she walked away with two ipads and never told me. A few days later the store calls saying she might have "accidentally" gotten two ipads. I asked her about it and she says she sold it. Can she get in trouble? Or do i deny it and the store is responsible.

She can go to prison. And if a prosecutor thinks you assisted her, and your denial certainly would fall into that category, you can go there too.
If you are an inherently dishonest person (and that seems to be answered by your question about trying to deny), and want to send a message to your daughter that it is OK for her to be a dishonest person and a thief, you both can try to get away with her stealing the second iPad and face any consequences. Most people would not need to even ask the question - they would make it right, and be a good parent and example to their children.
Of course she can get in trouble. She paid for one iPad and picked up two. The more important question is what have you taught her while you have been raising her: (1) take advantage of people if they make a mistake and you see an opportunity to take advantge of them; (2) take and keep things you know you are not entitled to; and (3) lie about it when questioned. Right after you lie to the store, make sure you put your money together for your attorney.
