Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
An out-of-state policeman has called me several times looking for my daughter. I did not give out her phone or address but have relayed each phone call. They indicated there is a criminal investigation having to do with her former employer. My daughter has not called them back and now the police have indicated they will come directly to my house looking for her.
1) Am I within my rights not to give out her information?
2) Can they arrest me for not giving them information?

In the first place you don't know if the so-called cop is legit. Tell him to go fly a kite. Also, call me if you would like to discuss further.
