Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
Pay fine or jail
Is there any time where a person can be convicted of a crime and they would have to pay a very large fine(130K) OR go to jail? Can someone just pay a fine rather than going to jail?

Re: Pay fine or jail
You normally don't get a choice and I've never heard of such serious crimes only getting fines. So don't count on it. Sounds like you need a good lawyer. Call me at 732/247/3340 if you would like to discuss the case. My consultations are always free.
