Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
I am currently pending domestic abuse charges. During this time, my wife sued for divorce and recently we went into mediation. During the session, she stated that if I settled, she would go to the DA and convince him to drop the charges. Can she really do this and not have any repercussions? It is my understanding that I cannot tell her that because the DA would see that as influencing a witness/victim. What are my options?

Your options are to discuss this with your criminal lawyer AND your divorce lawyer, two people you desperately need and have not hired.
