Can a person involved in a crime be an eye witness? what is the legal defination of an eye witness?

Yes a co-defendant, or a co-conspirator can be an eye witness. There is no legal definition of eye witness. A witness is someone that knows something about the case. An "eye" witness is someone that knows something about the case because he has "seen" it.
