Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia

petition

I need someone to do the paperwork for a petition. I was under the first Offender Act, charged w/ False Imprisonment By Imtimiation (of a minor) in 1996, and I been Registering as a sex offender for 9 years now, and according to the G.B.I, my expire date is June 13, 2010. The Cobb and Cherokee Sheriff Offices said to get petition off, but I have the paper work, but dont know how to do it. Should I get a lawyer, and or do it on my own? And about How much would it cost ?

Re: petition

A lawyer will help you file the petition with the correct information to support your release, giving you the highest chance of success. The sex offender registration laws are very detailed and complex. Email our office directly for more information and fees.
