Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
I pled to accessory to burglary in 2002 and was sentenced under Georgia's First Offender's Act; however, in 2003 I violated probation for trying to pawn a stolen video game. Consequently, I lost my First Offender status. Is there a way to get this offense off my record, It is hindering my opportunity for employment.

It is too late to undo what you did in 2003, thus, it is too late to undo your plea and VOP--unless, there is a "manifest injustice" element that you have not shared. Consult with an attorney (the $250 - $500 consultation fees will be well worth it if he/she can put this matter to rest, on way or the other).
