Can the police be called after damage occured to a car 2 months ago.

You can call the police 2 years later too. Whether they can be called or should be depends on why you are calling them, and since you chose not to tell us anything about the case we can't tell you anything helpful.

Do you have a mother? Can the police be called (and given information) three months after she is shot in cold blood? Yes, then they can be called for damage to a vehicle.
