Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
Polygraph
An associate at my job was accused of theft and has since been fired. He has also accused several others of the same offense. The local police investigator has requested that I take a polygraph test.I have not been charged with any wrongdoing by my company or any law enforcement agency.Am I required by law to take this test?

Re: Polygraph
No, you are not required by law to take the test. Your company may fire you if you do not .. You need to check on this. I do not like these tests as they are only correct 3/4 of the time. If you do decide to take it, make sure you sign no statements that allow it to be admissable in court.
