Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
Prescription Forgery
I was convicted on two separate occasions in 1997 and 1998 for prescription forgery. I was sentenced to probation on one conviction and a half-way house followed by probation on the other. I am currently on bond for the same type of charge from an arrest in 2005 in one county and last week arrest for the same type charge in another. Yes, I have lost my mind! I became addicted during the course of having 15 surgeries. I still have many medical problems that will require surgery for the rest of my life. What steps can I take to try and stay out of prison yet get much needed help at the same time?
