Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
What is a pre-trial diversion? And how do you get it?
What applies to a first time offender? Is there a pre-list of what cases can claim this or is it true of any crime committed on a first time bases? I have also heard of a pre-trial diversion that helps the defendant look better with the courts and there case. What exactly is it and can only a judge order it? Thank you

This is a rather loaded question. The definition of pre trial diversion varies by jurisdiction. Please give us a ring, and we'll be happy to help.
