Probation Violation
On a first time (felony) probation violation, is there a time limit that the violator can be held in jailed? The violation was not a felony act, just the original case. This is in Cobb County Georgia!

Re: Probation Violation
A technical violation has limits. There is always the limit of the time in the original sentence. The answer to your specific question, depends on the nature of the violation, and a lot of other factors which have to be identified before the real answer you seek, can be determined. That answer is what am I or my loved one looking at in the pending revocation proceeding? If you want the answer, please give me a call and I will be happy to discuss the case and the particulars with you.
