Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
I was put on probation approx. 2 and a half years ago. At the time, I was employed and was only required to pay the monthly fee to the state, and pay off my fees to the court. As time went by, I became unemployed and my PO that I had at the time suggested that she may be able to switch it over to community service while I was unemployed. Once I acquired a new job, I explained the situation to my PO and she refuses to work with/explain anything to me other than that she will not file the paperwork to have my hours transferred back into payments. (The job I'm working is a 7 night a week job, 8pm to 7am, if that is of any importance) My question is, is it legal for her to do such a thing. If it is, then is there a way that i can have my hours turned back into financial payments?

YOu have a job, so employ an attorney to file the necessary paperwork. The PO's job is to supervise you not take care of you.
