Question Regarding Cybersex

In the past, I engaged in cybersex with people I met in chat rooms using webcams. I am very careful to ask ages, and to make sure that those I have enaged in this practice with are over the age of 18. I have never conversed with anyone that told me they were below the age of 18. After finally realizing the dangers of cyber ''relations'', I began to worry, i.e., what if my coparticipants lied about their true age (though I have no reason to suspect this), or were in fact cops in disguise? As long as I have asked to make sure these people are over the age of 18, is this a crime? I have never met anyone, nor asked to meet any of these participants. Thanks!

Re: Question Regarding Cybersex

Asking the age does not protect you anymore than in a stat. rape case. This is not a good practice unless the person is clearly 30+
