Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia

I recently have gotten arrested for a possesion of marijuana which was only like a gram and i also got a ticket for a broken headlight and I got my liscence supende for class D restrictions. My question is that the officer never read me my Miranda Rights so if I bring that up in court will the charges be dropped, and do I need to hire an attorney??
