Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia

I've recently been charged with misdemeanor marijuana possession and currently on parole for possesion. I have been on parole for 10 months with no problems. I am clean now and I've passed all my drug screens and paid all my fees to date. The marijuana was not mine. It turns out that a friend of my girlfriend left her cigarette pack with the very small amount of marijuana in it, in my vehicle. I was not arrested and have not yet been convicted. The case is still pending and I still have the option to continue my arraignment date. Should I wait to tell my P.O.? Is revocation inevitable? and what are the chances of parole being continued after some jail time? Thanks for your time.

You were arrested, so your P.O. will know. I suspect a revocation is inevitable. I have no idea how much of your parole time the hearing judge will take after hearing the evidence. As far as the parole hearing judge is concerned 10 months is nothing. Wish you the best of luck.
