Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia

We have renters, and on the property we have storage building that we keep our personal belonging in. The renter broke in and stolen old check from a closed account and order stuff from Tractor Supply. Tractor supply deliver the stuff order off the internet from our closed account and now are coming after us using the TRS Recovery. What are our options?� We have call the police today and trying to talk with TRS Revovery.

You need to contact TRS Recovery after hiring a lawyer and let them know that you did not receive their merchandise and that you contest the debt that is in all likelihood being reported as a bad debt on your credit report.

Your problem seems somewhat straightforward so the fees associated with hiring a lawyer should not be to difficult to manage.

So far you have done everything wrong (the trying to talk to a collector is a big no-no).

You need to do far more than call the police. Your tenants are criminals. Make a formal report, get a copy and swear out a warrant for their arrest.

Take a copy of the police report to a lawyer. Ask the lawyer to write the company. That cost should be minimal.

When you get done with all this, evict the criminals. Discuss that with your lawyer.
