Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia

Hello to you, i reside in Georgia. I would like to know when does the Statute Of Limitations begin to run. When you report a felony related crime committed against you to the police, and you receive a police report of the incident? I filed police reports against my late mother's Executor and his attorney in 2012. For filing a FRAUDULENT ACCOUNTING on my late mother's Estate. I have come to find out that the police didn't report my allegations to the District Attorney's Office. I now want to refile criminal charges against them, so I wanted to know has the Statute Of Limitations run out on me to do so?

The police don't fix fraudulent accountings as those are considered civil disputes. Your failure to get a lawyer at that time and make proper filings in probate court likely means you can't do anything now. See a lawyer now to see if you can still file anything in probate court, but it sounds like you made a huge unfixable mistake.
