Re: shoplifting charge

Much of what will happen with this charge will depend upon the prosecutor. You will definately be charged with a felony and if convicted may have some jail time followed by probation and fines.

Most likely, you will have to face a probation revocation on your previous charge. The court will take away your "first offender" status and may give you some time in jail. This will depend upon the recommendation of your probation officer. You may be arrested and detained the next time you report but this does not mean that you should not report. Not reporting will make matters worse.

Things like this vary from circuit to circuit but most definately, you NEED to contact an attorney ASAP.
