Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia

I have a simple battery charge against me in which I feel that I have a good chance of being found not guilty. With that being said, when I was arraigned and the state charged me, the judge that presided over the arraignment had formerly represented me as my attorney approximately 15 years prior. He had no recolection of me or his prior representation of me. This being a conflict of interest, does it qualify for dismissal of charges?

That is something to discuss with your criminal lawyer, since it would be a horrible idea to have even proceeded this far in a criminal case without one.
