simple battery /17 male in 11th grade
age 17 got into fuss with teacher and was charged wiht simple battery he said he did try to push the teacher out of the doorway all he wanted to do was leave the room to call me his mother . i need to kknow if we need a lawyer present or dose it make a differce what can happen to him never been in trouble like this before

When you say he was "charged" with a simple battery, I'm assuming you are referring to a proceeding or event outside of school (e.g., a charge by a prosecutor).
