Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia

I slept with this guy. i made plans to see him again the next weekend but the night I was going to see him he was arrested for aggravated sodomy which had taken place the night before. This man could have raped me and didn't. Everytime I said "wait" he stopped. Even made sure I hadn't had too much to drink and was fully able to consent. I heard a rumor about the victim. The two had dated and after they slept together he broke it off. She was so angry she slapped him across the face. Why would she be alone with him after that?After she went to the hospital for he "injuries" she had no problem preforming in a play that night. My question is, with all this information I should talk to the police? I should I just drop it?
