My small business was conned into a contract for service by a unscupousos salesperson. The salesperson talked q partime employee into signig a contact for credit card machine lease. This person was not a corporate officer. Equipment was returned upon reciept and company notified that service was not desired. All happened appx two years ago. They have noe deducted fron my bank account $3250 and refuse to return it. would this not be a crimminal act ?

Unlikely. As you stated, someone signed a contract. No one here has it, or knows the terms and you did not bother to tell us what they are. Did the contract state that nothing was due if you returned the equipment and stated "service was not desired?"
