Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
my son was arrested last year for probation violation ,he shouldn't have been but he and his lawyer at the time made a deal with his p.o. he was to be released until a bed opened up in a program called RSAT. three months later he has a warrant out because now his p.o. is saying different now.When my son called his lawyer at the time and asked for copies of the papers he signed with his p.o. about the agreement he stated that he sent them off and no longer had them. I find that hard to believe and I would like to know how I could get the papers and anything else that could help...... Thank You

At the risk of being too blunt, I am not sure why you are asking here. If going to prison is an important issue (and to most people it probably would be), people facing prison immediately get good criminal lawyers. Your son should either discuss his situation with his lawyer, or hire another one ASAP.
