Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia

My son had to appear in court my car was in the shop and he had a ride set up through a friend at the last min he couldn't take him so he called the clerk of courts and they gave him until lunch time that day to appear he called back and told them he couldn't make it he has been picked up for FTA how long could he stay in jail or what do I need to do to get him out

He is not getting out, because he has told the judge that getting to court is a serious problem for him. So, the judge will keep him in custody until the case is resolved. I suspect you will need to put money together to retain an attorney. Good luck.

Lewis is correct -- you'll need to hire a criminal defense attorney ASAP

Why didn't he call UBER etc?? That is what the Judge is going to ask, and he will not be happy with your son's answer.
