Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
My son is in prison for parole violation. He is a drug abuser and has been charged with forgery.
This time before the judge, he was banned from his home district. This is where all family lives. I have heard that this cannot be done. He will be homeless when he is released. Due out in March. Had to serve one year.

You didn't ask a question. So I'm not sure what you wanted to know.
Georgia does allow banishment from an area as a form of punishment. So what whatever non-lawyer is advising you is ignorant as to the law.
