Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
My son was riding with a guy that hit a cop and jumped out of the truck and ran. He left my son in the car and they are saying if they cant find the guy he will be charged with the crime. My son also had drugs in his system but none on him, can he be charged with them?

What crime are "they" saying he will be charged with? Can he be charged with aggravated assault? Yes, IF the police establish that he and the friend acted in concertin striking the police. Can he be charged with fleeing and attempting to elude? No, because he never left the scene. Can he be charged with drugs in his system? No. Good luck.
