Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
spouse testimony
My wife has reseived aletter that says that she has got to testify against me. She would like to know if there are any laws that may stop this from happining. An if there is, what the legal term is and if there are any loopholes that may be use against us. ANY HELP YOU CAN GIVE WOULD BE GREAT. THANKS

Re: spouse testimony
A person cannot be forced to testify against their spouse, except where the spouse is charged with a crime against a child (OCGA � 24-9-23).
