Different state failure to appear

If a creditor calls me to small claims court in ga and i live in nc, and i dont go and dont ever go to ga again what could happen to me

For one state to take jurisdiction of you there has to be the legal basis for the exercise of jurisdiction. Just calling you to come to Court is not enough. Were you served the complaint and summons? If so, by whom? What kind of claim is being asserted? Have you acknowledged service of the documents in any official way? These and similar questions need to be answered, before an informed and intelligent response can be made to the question.

Assuming you have been legally served, if you don't appear you can and probably will suffer a default judgment. Once the document becomes final it can serve as the basis for a legal proceding against you in NC to enforce the judgment.
